We test your electrical equipment to ensure it is safe to use for members of staff or members of the public ensuring record keeping that proves you have done everything that is reasonably practicable to maintain your duty of care to fulfil the needs of the Health and Safety at work act 1974 and the 1989 Electricity at work regulations. We take that responsibility from your shoulders using the latest equipment and provide full printed certification and documentation.

What do we test?    

We test the 240v single phase mains sockets that your electrical appliances use. We visually inspect your appliances for signs of wear , damage or missuse that could pose an electric shock or fire hazzard. We then provide advice or suggested solutions.

We then test using our calibrated equipment to ensure that any insulation is performing to the correct electrical standard thus preventing the chance of electric shock to staff or customers.  We measure the Earth bond resistance to ensure in the event of a failure of your equipment the electricity will ground through the earth circuit and not the user/customer

What will the test reveal.

Your items will either pass or fail the test. Items that have failed can be generally repaired on site for a small charge , replacing damaged power cords ,plugs, or fuses etc. Passed items will be documented and labelled to prove your compliance.

We will ensure a test regime is in place to maintain your liabilities.

Typical quote £45 includes call out and up to 10 items £1 per item thereafter. repairs as costed.
