Installing the YALE alarms is proving to show just how diverse and versitile they can be,
In one day I have completed two jobs for one client. One being a siren based system with two pir sensors and a door contact to cover a new cottage and also a siren based alarm to cover a barn. A simple system consisting of a siren two door contacts and a keypad. Ideal for barns and outbuildings as the alarm requires no mains power with the batteries lasting 2-6 years. Then in the same day I had a request for a survey of a large public house.
This system requires two working external sirens, a telecommunicating control panel , 9 window/door contacts , 9 pir movement sensors . part set to allow bar areas to be covered while accomodation areas are not set. an extra remote keypad . The owner has no requirement for an insurance approved system but simply wishes to be aware of any intrusion to his property and requires a deterent . The ability to remotely set and unset the alarm by mobile and be notified of any activation to land line or mobile were a surprising bonus considering the system cost was only a third of previously quoted works. With two 104db external sirens and an internal 100db siren the system will definately fulfil his needs to attract attention in the event of an intrusion.
