Bad news I'm afraid,

News today says this recession is twice as bad as the 1990s. Those not young enough to remember the first time round won't remember gangs driving round with baseball bats and sleeping at home with weapons under the pillow.

It seems we are heading back to those days. While alarm fittings to new homes or people moving home have tailed off everyone I visit now admit I was called because they have had a security scare themselves or know someone personally who was burgled.

The sad part is that when everyone is now in urgent need of protection finances are stretched and even my extremely good value systems are seemingly too expensive for some.   There is help from myself in the form of staged payments. ie Pay 25% on completion of installation and three further monthly payments to spread the cost.

I am now installing a few YALE alarms for people who have bought them to fit themselves and then rightly decided that something so important should really be installed by someone with experience. It wouldn't be good to find out you have programmed the system wrong because a burglar has been without setting it off.
